Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla recently re-signed with All Elite Wrestling. The exact length of the contract is unknown, but she reportedly signed a multi-year deal.
It’s also being reported that Thekla originally signed a two year deal with All Elite Wrestling after making the jump from Japan, but AEW was said to have been so happy with her performance that they decided to sign her to a new multi-year deal even though she wasn’t even a full year into her original deal. It was also noted that she used representation.
Thekla has been signed with AEW since May of 2025. Thekla successfully defended the AEW Women’s World Championship against Mina Shirakawa on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.
