Tommaso Ciampa has officially joined All Elite Wrestling.
On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, TNT Champion Mark Briscoe successfully defended his title against El Clon. After the match, Briscoe took the microphone and issued an open challenge for this Saturday’s Collision.
This would lead to the lights going out and a beating heart appeared on the screen which went from red to black. Tommaso Ciampa then entered the arena and made his way down the ramp. Ciampa had a stare down with Briscoe in the middle of the ring and it was confirmed that Ciampa will be challenging Mark Briscoe for the TNT Championship on Collision.
Ciampa left WWE just days ago, announcing on January 21 that his contract was expiring and he did not want to extend it.
