WWE SmackDown Results (4/3/2026)
The show opens up with Joe Tessitore welcoming us and he narrates various shots of Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill, Michin, B-Fab, Charlotte Flair Alexa Bliss and the team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria arriving at the arena. Tessitore then lists tonight’s attendance as 11,620. Tessitore and Wade Barrett then checks in from the commentary desk and talks about WrestleMania being two weeks away.
They then set up a video package of the RAW opening segment between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Stephanie McMahon.
Randy Orton’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Orton then grabs a mic and starts off by asking St. Louis what do they want to talk about. Orton then says it’s no secret that this is his home town. Orton then says he was raised here from a very young man, he still calls St. Louis home and the next time they will see him in this arena, he will have number 15 firmly planted around his waist. Orton then says he is not doing this for them, he is doing this for himself, for his family and for his real home which is not St. Louis. Orton then says it is the six people in the front row that is who he is doing it for. Orton then says says at WrestleMania 42 he will walk out of Vegas with the Undisputed WWE Championship around his waist. Orton then says Cody Rhodes, whether he walks, crawls, carried, stretchered out of Vegas, he is going home from WrestleMania 42 empty handed.
Orton then says Cody gave him his blessing and it’s not personal between them. Orton then says Cody said he can be the viper, to be what he needed to be and to be the best version of himself. Orton then says he said he can listen to the voices. Orton then says he saw the voices talking to him too and he saw him in the ring with Stephanie McMahon. Orton then says Stephanie was not lying when she told Cody that Cody could not beat him and the voices in Cody’s head are telling him the same thing. Orton then tells Cody that Cody is not a killer. Orton then says what he has awoken inside him, there is no putting back to bed.
Cody Rhodes’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Cody and Randy Orton then throw punches and Cody with the advantage as he backs Randy into the corner. Cody then kicks and punches Randy again. Pat McAfee then comes into the ring and he kicks Cody in the neither region. Pat and Randy then exchange glances and Pat kicks Cody as Randy goes to the floor to get a chair. Pat then takes the mic from Randy and Randy hits Cody in the ribs with the mic. Pat then says the Rams left town, the Blues won’t make the playoffs and the Blues are a**. Randy then says this isn’t his home any more. Randy then says this isn’t a good night for St. Louis. Randy then hits Cody with the chair. Pat then says you might ask why is he here. Pat then says about a month ago, he was doing a Q&A and he was asked when would he return to the WWE. Pat then says he thought the business passed him by. Pat then says he couldn’t watch and he thought it was absolute s**t.
Orton then hits Cody with the chair. Pat then says Orton called him and told him that the business didn’t pass him by, it just went in a direction they didn’t like. Pat then mentions the WWE Attitude era fan and he starts to what. Pat then says the one’s who walked around and said if ya smell, the fans that put this company on their backs to launch it into a multi billion universe, they have been forgotten about. Pat then says why is it when he turns on WWE TV, he has to see two five foot five do a 45 minute iron man match for five weeks straight when Randy Orton is around. Pat then says why does he turn on Netflix and he sees all of gorilla beeping themselves when Randy Orton is around.
Pat then says tickets for WrestleMania are still somehow available when Randy Orton is around and SmackDown, fresh off the worst rated episode of all time, has a puppet for a champion and a man that represents everything that they hate. Pat then says he is the one on the phone telling Randy Orton that he has to kill everything. Pat then says it’s because the business that Cody is leading is terrible and Orton will save the f***ing business. Orton and Pat then walk to the back and through gorilla.
We then head to the back, where Pat says mission accomplished. Orton then tells him he needed him in his ear. Pat then says sometimes you have to remind people that they are in the GOAT conversation. They then get into a pick up truck and they drive off.
Rhea Ripley then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Michin and B-Fab follow.
Singles Match: “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley vs. Michin
The match starts off with Rhea hitting some punches and a thrust kick. Rhea then hits some punches in the corner followed by some forearms and shoulders. Rhea then hits a hard Irish whip and a shoulder into the corner. Rhea then hits a fallaway slam. Rhea. then stops her assault as Jade Cargill makes her way down the aisle to the ring. Rhea then hits a fallaway slam and Jade gets closer to the ring. Michin then hits a German suplex and some punches to Rhea. Michin then hits a forearm and some kicks. Rhea then hits some punches and forearms. Michin then hits a clothesline and she gets a near fall. Michin then sends Rhea to the floor and B-Fab hits a forearm while Michin talks to the referee.
Jade then stands over Rhea on the floor. Michin then goes to the floor and sends Rhea back into the ring and Michin gets a near fall. Michin then cinches in a bow and arrow, but Rhea escapes. Michin then hits a kick and she sends Rhea into the turnbuckles and chokes her. Michin then hits a chop in the corner. Michin then hits an Irish whip, but she misses a boot. Rhea then gets a rollup for a near fall. Michin then hits a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Michin then chokes Rhea in the ropes and chops her in the back. Rhea then hits a back heel kick. Rhea then hits a chop and Michin hits some forearms. Rhea then hits a forearm, but Michin hits a drop kick for a near fall. Michin then hits some kicks to the chest and back. Michin then applies a guillotine. Rhea is then able to turn it into a suplex.
Rhea and Michin then exchange punches. Rhea then hits short arm clotheslines, a back heel kick and a face plant. Rhea then hits a drop kick to the head. Rhea then goes for a slam, but Michin escapes. Rhea then hits head butts to Michin and she hits a Razor’s Edge and a running knee for a near fall. Rhea then goes for a Rip Tide and Michin escapes and sends Rhea to the mat. Michin then hits a round kick. Michin then misses a cannonball and Rhea hits a round kick and she gets Michin on her shoulders. Michin then hits a poisonrana and an Eat Defeat for a near fall. Michin then argues with the referee. Michin then hits a power bomb and she sets up for a second one, but Rhea hits a back body drop and she goes for the Prism Lock and Michin taps out.

After the match, Rhea does not release the hold and B-Fab attacks. Rhea then takes care of Fab. Jade then gets on the apron and Michin attacks Rhea from behind. Fab then holds Rhea and Jade hits a back fist. IYO SKY’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. IYO then hits a shotei to Michin and she sends Fab’s foot into Michin. Rhea and Iyo then hit stereo drop kicks. IYO then does her ears gimmick.
We then see Matt Cardona in the back and he says he is good to go. Aleister Black and Zelina then show up and they tell Matt he should have listened. He then says Randy went back to the old Randy. Matt then says if you want to take credit for what Randy did, go ahead, but he went to Aldis for a match tonight. Black then says Cardona likes to make bad decisions.
We then see Solo Sikoa ask how could he be challenged for the lantern. He then says he is not letting it out of his sight. He then says who steps up. Tama Tonga then asks why are they fighting for this lantern. Solo then says he wants to know what Tama said. Tama then says that lantern has been nothing but problems for them, especially for Solo. Solo then tells Tama to fight for it. Tama then says he will handle it and he is going out alone. Solo then tells Tama not to mess this up.
We then see IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley in the back and they are happy to see each other. Cathy Kelley then asks Rhea if IYO is a proactive way to even the odds at WrestleMania. Rhea then says Jade can’t do it on her own. Rhea then says Jade didn’t know she had a back up plan. Rhea then says Jade has followers while she has friends. IYO then says she will always have Rhea’s back. Rhea then says when they are together, they are unstoppable and that is why at WrestleMania, she will be walking out the new Women’s Champion.
Tama Tonga then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Uncle Howdy is already waiting inside.
Singles Match: The Wyatt Sicks’ Uncle Howdy vs. MFT’s Tama Tonga
The match starts off with Tama missing a clothesline and Howdy goes for the mandible claw, but Tama blocks it. Howdy then hits a knee to the midsection and he sends Tama into the turnbuckles. Howdy then hits some kicks and he runs into an uppercut. Tama then hits some punches and he chokes Howdy. Tama then hits a headbutt and some kicks. Tama then chokes Howdy in the ropes and he sends Howdy into the top rope. Howdy then goes to the floor. Tama then hits a forearm while they fight on the floor. Tama then sends Howdy into the steps and he stomps on the hand. Tama then returns to the ring to break the count and he sends Howdy into the ringside barrier. Tama then hits some punches. Tama then hits a forearm off the ring steps.
They then return to the ring and Tama hits some punches. Tama then hits a sliding clothesline. Tama then hits some punches to the back of the head. Tama then chokes Howdy in the ropes. Tama then hits some elbows in the corner and he follows it up with a drop kick. Tama then applies a nerve hold on Howdy. Howdy then hits some elbows and punches, but Tama hits a clothesline. Tama then hits double sledges to the back and he kicks Howdy in the corner. Tama then slides back into the corner and he goes for a splash into the corner, but Howdy catches Tama with a mandible claw. Solo then comes out with the lantern despite saying he would stay in the back. Howdy is then distracted and Tama sends Howdy into the ropes. Tama and Solo then argue and Tama turns into a Sister Abigail for the win.

After the match, Solo says he was trying to help and Tama says he didn’t need help. Tama then takes the lantern from Solo and he puts it on the mat for Howdy to take. Howdy then gets the lantern and Tama keeps Solo from getting it back.
We then see Kit Wilson and The Miz walk in the back and Kit says he is worried about the curse. Miz then tells Kit there is no curse. R-Truth then says he is talking about the clubhouse. Miz then says Truth doesn’t take anything seriously, but things go his way. Miz then says he challenges Truth and Truth accepts the challenge for a tag title match. Kit then asks if they just got a title match.
Jacob Fatu then cuts a promo and says this is what it is. Fatu then says me and you, one on one, at WrestleMania. Fatu then says you talking about unsanctioned. Fatu then says his life has been a rollercoaster. Fatu then says when you come from the gutter, you are forced to be a product of your environment. Fatu then says it isn’t about who is right and wrong. Fatu then says every day and decision brought him to this moment. Fatu then says in this match, there are no rules. Fatu then says there is no one to stop him and no one to break it up. Fatu then says there ain’t no one to tell him what he can and cannot do to Drew’s punk a**. Fatu then says you are in his world. Fatu then says let’s see if you make it out.
We then see Sami Zayn walking in the back and he talks to Nick Aldis and asks if he has pyro for his celebration. Nick then says he didn’t give Sami anything. Nick then says he made his own spot.
Trick Williams’ music then hits when Sami Zayn is about to go to the ring. Trick then makes his way down to the ring with Lil Yachty. They then get in the ring and the fans chant “Whoop that trick”. Trick then says the truth is he came out to celebrate his first match at WrestleMania, but since they are bringing out all the stars, Jelly Roll and Pat McAfee, it is only right he brings out his boy Lil Yachty and he points to him.
Lil Yachty then says WrestleMania is not for little boys and girls, it is for legends in the making. Trick then says he didn’t bring him out just to celebrate. Trick then says he wants to ask him something. Trick then says they go back and if it is cool with him, they pack up, go all white and bring it to WrestleMania and Lil Yachty agrees. Trick then says there is nothing in the world that he will not do to get the United States Championship. Trick then says he isn’t taking no lip off no ginger bread man. Lil Yachty then tells him that he likes what he is doing and he is disrespectful. Trick then says he will show him at WrestleMania. Trick then gets to the top rope and he tells them to hit Sami Zayn’s pyro because Trick Williams runs SmackDown. Trick then climbs the second rope and pyro goes off.
Sami Zayn’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Sami starts off by saying you have the celebration ready and that is all well and good. Sami then says the pageantry has never been this thing. Sami then says he is a bit more working class. Sami then says he is about what happens when he steps between these ropes. Sami then says there will be 50,000 seats and they will be pointed at the ring. Sami then says all of the fur coats and rap superstars won’t mean anything because you will be in the ring with one of the best. Sami then says he will humble Trick’s a**.
The fans then boo and Trick says he thinks ginger snap is upset. He then tells Zayn that he fails to realize and mention that the only reason he got that title is because of him. Trick then says the only reason he is going to WrestleMania is because of him. Trick then says thank you Trick Williams, you’re welcome Sami Zayn. Carmelo’s music then hits and Carmelo Hayes makes his way down to the ring. Hayes then says he cannot sit back and let this go down. He then tells Trick they have history and he will get his receipt and he will spin the block on him and he knows the best place to do it. He then says first, the way you did that last week didn’t sit with him or anyone else. Hayes then says he carried SmackDown and the title on his back. Hayes then says you took the title and ran it across the goal line from the one yard line.
He then says if you listen to the people, they don’t want Sami, they want Melo. Hayes then tells Sami to listen to the people and give them what they want. He then says he isn’t asking, he is telling Sami to get him his rematch. Trick then marches in the ring and Sami says he thinks the world of Hayes. Trick then says you did carry SmackDown with the open challenges. Sami then says he takes nothing away. Sami then says you had an open challenge, he answered it and beat Hayes. He then says he didn’t mean to do it that way. He then says you can get a title match, but it will be on the other side of WrestleMania. Trick then convinces Sami to give him a shot. Sami then says Trick has a point. He then says if Trick didn’t get involved, he would have beaten him.
He then says maybe, but Trick got involved. Sami then says it happened to him too. Sami then talks about what he did with Cody. He then says the same thing happened here and it benefits him. He then says he is happy he is going to WrestleMania, but he still has issues. Hayes then tells Sami to do it. Sami then tells Hayes if he wants his rematch, he gets it tonight. Trick then tells ginger snap they could have saved five minutes. Sami then clotheslines Trick over the top rope and to the floor.
We then see Solo Sikoa ask Tama Tonga why did he do it. Tama says he had to. Tama then says that stupid lantern was pulling them apart. Tama then says they need to get back to business and take all of the titles. Solo then says Tama is right. Solo then says after they are done with the Wyatts, they will get back to business. Solo then asks him if they are good and Tama says they are.
Aleister Black and Zelina then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Matt Cardona follows.
Singles Match: Aleister Black vs. Matt Cardona
The match starts off with Black hitting a single leg take down and Matt gets away from Black. Matt then hits a kick and he applies a side head lock. Black then escapes and Matt hits an arm drag. Matt then hits a knee to the midsection. Black then goes after the injured arm and Matt escapes. Matt then hits a forearm, but he cannot get Black up for a flapjack. Black then stomps on the hand and he works on the wrist. Matt then hits some knees to get free. Black then applies a top wrist lock. Matt then hits a forearm to send Black to the floor and he hits a drop kick through the ropes. Black then misses a round kick and Matt hits a forearm.
Matt then sends black into the apron and back into the ring. Matt then sends Black into the turnbuckles and Zelina lounges on the apron and Black hits a leg sweep to drop Matt onto the apron. Black then hits a kick to the arm and an uppercut to the injured arm. Black then sends Matt shoulder first into the ringside barrier and he follows it up with a kick to the arm. Black then slams the arm into the ringside barrier and the ring post. Black is then sent into the turnbuckles and Black misses a move off the turnbuckles. Black then hits a kick and a suplex for a near fall. Black then wraps the arm in the ropes and Matt sends Black to the floor. Matt then hits a kick and he goes for a Tiger Driver, but he cannot get Black up.
Black then hits a round kick for a near fall. Black then hits an Irish whip and he rolls into a double wrist lock. Black then misses a clothesline and Matt hits a power bomb. Matt then hits a back elbow, but he tries to block a punch with his injured hand and he shows the damage that he has endured. Matt then hits a face plant, but he cannot hit a Tiger Bomb. Matt then counters a suplex attempt into a neck breaker. Matt then hits a forearm into the corner for a near fall.
Black then hot shots Matt and puts him on the turnbuckles. Black then sets up for a superplex, but Matt drops Black face first to the mat. Matt then hits a missile drop kick and a Tiger Driver for a near fall. Matt then sets up for a Woo Woo Kick, but Black moves. Black then hits a knee and a brainbuster for a near fall. Black then applies an arm bar submission, but Matt rolls through to escape. Black and Matt then exchange forearms. Black then blocks a kick and Matt hits a forearm. Black then hits a Black Mass for the win.

We then see Cathy Kelley with Lyra Valkyria and Bayley and she asks about Bayley getting on the WrestleMania card. Bayley says last year sucked, but she is used to having her back against the wall. She then says Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are getting a taste of what will happen at WrestleMania. Lyra then says if they went through what her and Bayley went through, they wouldn’t be friends. She then says they are doing it for Bayley.
We then take a look at what happened between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi.
We then see R-Truth with Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. R-Truth says he thought Johnny was dead and Candice tells him he is alive and tomorrow at Stand & Deliver, he is going to win. They then walk away and Damian Priest shows up. Priest tells R-Truth there are many good tag teams on SmackDown, but he decided to give the opportunity to Kit Wilson and The Miz. R-Truth then says it’s easy because Asuka cursed them. Priest then tells him that Asuka is on RAW and R-Truth asks him who is the little girl running around with the face paint. Priest then tells him that is Danhausen. R-Truth then says Miz and Wilson challenged them. Priest then asks him that he gave them a chance because Danhausen cursed them and R-Truth says it was Asuka.
Drew McIntyre then cuts a promo and says Shakespeare couldn’t write it better. Drew then says his family was going to see him walk out as champion and the moment was stolen again. Drew then says this time by Jacob Fatu. Drew then says he heard excuses, justifications and lies. Drew then says you are nothing more than a criminal and a thief. Drew then says he has seen people change, but you are nothing more than a disgusting, dirty convict. Drew then says you are here because of your family and you are the Nepo Criminal of the family. Drew then says next week he will prove that you are as guilty as charged. Drew then says he will show who Jacob Fatu really is.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria then follow as Wade Barrett reveals that Nikki Bella is undergoing rehabilitation for an ankle injury she had sustained last Friday.
Tag Team Match: Charlexa (“The Queen” Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss) vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria
The match starts off with Flair hitting some shoulders and chops to Lyra while Bayley and Bliss fight on the apron. Lyra then hits a Thesz Press, but Flair hits a kick. Lyra then flips over Flair in the corner and Lyra hits a spinning heel kick for a near fall. Lyra then hits a cartwheel and an enzuigiri. Alexa then tags in and Flair hits a flatliner into the turnbuckles. Alexa then hits a tornado DDT. Alexa then sends Lyra into the turnbuckles and Flair tags in and she mocks Bayley. Flair then kicks Lya in the corner. Alexa then tags in and she chops Lyra while Flair holds her. Alexa then gets a near fall. Alexa then applies a reverse chin lock.
Lyra then hits some forearms and Alexa sends Lyra to the mat. Alexa then sends Lyra into the ropes and chokes her. Flair then tags in and she chops Lyra. Flair then hits an Irish whip and a chop to Lyra and she knocks Bayley off the apron. Alexa then tags in and she kicks Lyra. Flair then tags in and she hits a snap mare to Lyra. Flair then applies a figure four head scissors and she rolls Lyra around the ring. Alexa then tags in and she hits a knee drop. Alexa then keeps Lyra from making the tag and Alexa sends Lyra to the mat. Alexa then hits a double knee drop and she misses a somersault senton. Flair then tags in and she stops Lyra from making the tag. Lyra then hits some forearms, but she cannot get away from Flair.
Flair then hits a chop and an Irish whip. Lyra then hits a cross body and Bayley tags in. Bayley then hits a clothesline and a belly-to-back suplex. Bayley then kicks Flair and Flair pushes Bayley away. Bayley then hits a knee to the head and she puts Flair on the middle rope and Bayley follows it up with a knee drop. Bayley then hits a sunset flip power bomb for a near fall. Bayley then goes up top and she sets up for the elbow drop, but Flair stops Bayley with a forearm. Flair then hits a chop on the turnbuckles and Bayley hits a forearm. Flair then goes for a superplex, but Bayley blocks it. Lyra then holds on to Bayley’s leg and Flair goes to the mat.
Lyra then sends Alexa face first into the mat and Bayley sets up for the elbow drop and hits it. Bayley then gets a near fall. Bayley then gets Flair on her shoulders and Lyra hits a swinging neck breaker off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Flair then pushes Lyra into the turnbuckles and Lyra hits a kick. Lyra then goes for a missile drop kick, but Flair catches her and goes for the bridging figure four and Bayley makes the save. Alexa then hits a drop kick to stop Bayley from pulling Lyra into her corner for a tag. Lyra then catches Alexa on a cross body attempt and Lyra goes for Night Wing, but Alexa counters into a Sister Abigail. Alexa then punches Lyra while Flair stops Bayley. Flair then hits a Natural Selection to Bayley while Alexa hits a Blockbuster on Lyra for the win.

After the match, Lash Legend and Nia Jax attack Alexa, Charlotte, Lyra and Bayley. Nia and Lash then hit splashes to Lyra and Alexa. Lash then applies a bear hug on Bayley and Nia hits a leg drop off the turnbuckles.
We then head to the back, where The Miz tells Kit Wilson the curse is a myth. He then says how could they have gotten a tag title match. Danhausen then shows up behind Miz and Kit. Danhausen then asks if someone said curse. He then says he will come to the ring with him to learn from them. Kit then tells Danhausen he is toxic. Danhausen then says he can reverse the curse and they can win the titles. Miz then tells Danhausen he better not come to the ring and they will become new champions. Miz then turns around, but Danhausen is gone
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: R-Truth and Damian Priest (c) vs. The Miz and Kit Wilson
The match starts off with Kit attacking Truth from behind and he kicks Truth. Kit then hits an uppercut and he misses a kick and Truth does some dancing. Truth then hits some punches. Kit then hits a kick and an Irish whip followed by an elbow. Miz then tags in. Miz then hits some kicks. Truth then hits two flying shoulder tackles followed by a Blue Thunder Bomb. Truth then sets up for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Miz hits a kick and Kit drops Truth on the top rope. Kit then hits a flying corkscrew uppercut on Truth on the floor. The referee then stops Priest from going after Kit. Miz then sends Truth into the apron. Miz then works on the back and backs Truth into the corner. Kit then tags in and they pose. They then hit a double Awesome Clothesline. Kit then gets a near fall.
Kit then applies a front face lock and he tries to keep Truth from making the tag and Kit sends Truth to the mat. Kit then hits some elbow drops. Kit then chokes Truth in the ropes and Miz drops Truth on the top rope. Kit then hits some punches. Kit then hits a boot to the head. Miz then tags in and they hit a wishbone on Truth. Miz then applies a reverse chin lock. Priest is then tagged in. Priest then hits a right hand onto Miz. Kit then comes in and Priest hits a right hand. Priest then applies an arm bar onto Miz and he walks the top rope. Priest then hits a cross body off the top rope. Priest then hits a clothesline. He then goes for a cover, but Kit breaks it up. Priest then hits a kick to the side of the head and R-Truth is tagged in. R-Truth then grabs Miz, but Miz pushes him away and hits a double clothesline.
Danhausen’s music then hits and he makes his way out. He then places the jar of teeth onto the ring apron and he gets on the ring apron. Danhausen then wants the tag and Miz goes to make it, but he sees it’s Danhausen. The referee then tells Danhausen he is not in the match. Miz then tells him to leave. Miz then argues with the referee. R-Truth then tags Danhausen in. Danhausen then gets in the ring and Miz tells him he doesn’t belong there and to leave. Danhausen then tells him that you are cursed, but Miz puts the referee in front of him. Miz then goes for a Skull Crushing Finale and the lights go out. They then come back on and we see Danhausen running. In the ring, R-Truth hits an AA on Kit. Miz then hits a Skull Crushing Finale onto R-Truth. He then goes for a cover and as the referee is counting, he stops at two and his arm is in pain. The referee is in pain and Priest is tagged in. Priest then hits a South of Heaven. He then goes for a cover and the referee counts with his left arm to three.

After the match, Cody hits a Cross Rhodes on Kit Wilson. Cody then takes a mic and says we all got dressed up to find out who it was that Randy was talking to on the phone. Cody then says it was Pat McAfee. Cody then says that is the same as the third member of the nWo not being Hulk Hogan, but Disco Inferno. He then tells Pat he will get a receipt. He then tells Pat that him and everyone he is with can kiss his a**. Cody then says are you going to fire him.
Cody then says he wants that to be Randy’s legacy for fifteen. Cody then says you said it wasn’t personal. Cody then says Stephanie told him he has to go to the dark place and become a bad guy. Cody then says he doesn’t know if he knows how to do it any more. Cody then says he has two kids and his dream job. Cody then mentions how they have set records over he last four years. Cody then says he was wrestling John Cena, Roman Reigns and the Rock. Cody then says they were also wrestling him. Cody then says two of the best wrestlers will face off. Cody then says he has been hearing those voices in his head. Cody then says you don’t want to hear what they have to say. Cody then storms to the back.

WWE United States Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Carmelo Hayes
The match starts off with both men locking up and Sami gives a clean break. Hayes then applies a side head lock and a waist lock. Sami then hits an elbow and Hayes hits a drop kick. Sami then hits some chops and he goes to the turnbuckles for some punches. Hayes then pulls Sami onto the turnbuckle face first and Hayes hits his own punches. Sami then hits a clothesline for a near fall. Sami then gets a few more near falls. Sami then works on the shoulder. Hayes then hits a springboard clothesline and a splash into the corner. Hayes then stops Sami and puts him in the ropes. Hayes then hits a kick to the back and a springboard leg drop for a near fall. Sami then goes to the floor and Hayes hits a flip dive. Hayes appears to have hurt his left knee and lower leg.
Hayes then sends Sami back into the ring while Hayes tries to get some feeling back in his leg. Hayes then hits some chops. Sami then hits a kick and some punches. Sami then kicks Hayes. Sami then hits a chop. Sami then hits an elbow drop and he gets a series of near falls. Hayes then gets a near fall. Sami then applies a cross face. Hayes then hits a chop and Sami hits a back elbow. Sami then goes to the turnbuckles and he kicks Hayes. Sami then sets up for a tornado DDT and hits it for a near fall. Sami then hits some chops and forearms. Hayes then hits a forearm to try to fight back. Sami then hits some chops. Sami then hits another chop and Hayes falls to the mat. Hayes then hits some forearms.
Sami then misses a clothesline and Hayes hits a La Mistica, but he lands on his knee and can only get a near fall. Sami then blocks a First 48. Sami then goes for the exploder in the corner, but Hayes counters with a victory roll for a near fall. Sami then hits an exploder into the turnbuckles. Sami then sets up for the Helluva Kick, but Hayes hits a super kick. Hayes then goes up top and he hits a frog splash, but he can only get a near fall. Sami then gets a crucifix for a near fall. Hayes then applies a side head lock. Sami then goes for the Blue Thunder Bomb, but Hayes blocks it and hits a First 48. Hayes then comes off the turnbuckles and lands on his feet and he collapses under the pain. The referee then checks on Hayes and he pulls Sami away. Sami then sets up for a Helluva Kick and hits it for the win.

After the match, Lil Yachty enters the ring and says he guesses Sami is going to WrestleMania to face Trick Williams. Lil Yachty then calls him Gingerbread Man and Sami goes after him, but Trick hits him from behind. Trick then hits him with the Trick Shot. Lil Yachty then grabs the United States title and gives it to Trick Williams. Trick then raises the title and his music hits as the show comes to a close.
