On tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, John Cena announced that WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will feature “exhibition matches” with main roster superstars issuing open challenges to the best that NXT has to offer.
Cena also said that the special will highlight the future of WWE by giving NXT stars the same chance he had when he began.
Cena will have his retirement match at the Saturday Night show, with competitors battling in the Last Time Is Now tournament for a chance to be his opponent.
