According to a report from Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling, WWE Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia has been penciled internally within WWE for June 27, 2026. However, that date is now in doubt due to the on-going military conflict in the region involving Iran.
Brandon Thurston noted that neither WWE and Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority officials did not respond to questions from Post Wrestling about if they considering rescheduling or canceling the upcoming event due to the on-going war issues in the Middle East.
One source spoken to reportedly stated that WWE had scheduled for this year’s Night of Champions event to take place in Riyadh. Thurston reported that those spoken to stated that TKO had sent a company-wide internal message to all of their staff on March 4th reiterating guidance from the U.S. State Department advising Americans to leave the regions throughout most of the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia.
