WWE Lifts Blackout Restrictions For WrestleMania 42 Watch Parties In Las Vegas

On February 9th,2026, it was reported that WWE had enacted a new policy that prevents local business establishments from being allowed to broadcast this April’s WrestleMania 42 event at their venues if they are within a 50 mile radius of the event in Las Vegas, Nevada. The reason for this new policy is due to WWE’s attempt at trying to boost the lower than expected ticket sales for WrestleMania 42.

Fightful Select is reporting that WWE recently listed their blackout ban for WrestleMania 42 due to the frustration it had generated from several casinos, hotels, and general tourists areas. Sources indicated that a number of Las Vegas city officials also grew frustrated with WWE’s ban over the last number weeks as well.

One source spoken to stated that when the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Board of Directors committed to a site fee for WrestleMania, it was to generate economic impact for the entire city and not just to WWE and Allegiant Stadium. Stadium Swim at the Circa in Las Vegas confirmed the lifting of WWE’s blackout ban on social media on Friday.
