Night six of the AEW Continental Classic took place earlier today during the live AEW Collision: Winter Is Coming special.
In Blue League action, Konosuke Takeshita and Claudio Castagnoli battled to a 20-minute time-limit draw. The result left both men tied atop the Blue League with seven points. Takeshita remains undefeated at 2-0-1, while Castagnoli now stands at 2-1-1. Neither competitor was content with the draw, as the two continued to brawl even after the final bell.
Over in the Gold League, “Speedball” Mike Bailey continued his strong run with a win over his tag team partner Kevin Knight. Bailey sealed the victory by hitting the Rubik’s Cube. With the win, Bailey improved to 2-1 and six points, tying him at the top of the Gold League with Kazuchika Okada and Kyle Fletcher. Bailey holds the tiebreaker over Fletcher due to his victory earlier in the week. Knight dropped to 1-2, leaving him with three points.
