Triple H Confirms Backstage Dispute In Men’s WarGames Match.
Ahead of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, WrestleVotes reported that there was some creative contention regarding the entrance order for the Men’s WarGames match. With so much top-tier star power involved, producers reportedly mapped out several different scenarios as they tried to lock in the flow of the match.
During the Survivor Series: post-show, Triple H talked about the Men’s WarGames match and noted that it was the edition that contained the most star power and that everybody delivered, pointing out notable names like Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, and Brock Lesnar, who is not known to team with others.
“When you have Brock Lesnar, who does not team well with others. When you have Roman Reigns, and you have Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso, and CM Punk, and Logan Paul, just all these people that are in there putting things out at another level, and you see that competitive nature.”
The Game then pointed out that due to the competitive nature, there was some tension, politicking, and lobbying were present backstage.
The lobbying, the politics, the backstage tension tonight. You could cut it with a knife. It was epic. And you saw that in people’s performances.”
