The Latest On Anna Jay’s AEW Contract Expiration. It was reported by Fightful Select’s late last month that sources believed Jay’s contract would be expiring in the next few months.
However, sources close to Fightful Select now indicate Jay’s contract is set to expire within the next six months, possibly during the Spring of 2026. Those same sources claim that Jay is actively looking into other options and does have connections within WWE and the NXT brand.
The report goes on to note that people became aware of Jay’s contract situation after she had been hopeful that she would have been part in the first-ever women’s Blood & Guts match, which she ended up happening. Her last appearance on AEW television was back on the November 19 episode of Collision, where she and Tay Melo took a loss to Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir, in an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament Match.
Jay made her debut in April 2020 as part of the Nightmare Factory pandemic-era tapings in Norcross, Georgia.
