The Last Time Is Now tournament to determine John Cena’s final opponent for his retirement match in December Continues On This Week Episode of the Blue Brand, As Jey Uso defeated The Miz on Friday’s WWE SmackDown in the first round of the Last Time is Now tournament.
The closing moments of the match saw Miz places Jey on the top rope and climbs to the second rope, looking for a top-rope Skull Crushing Finale. Jey fights back with elbows and manages to lift Miz onto his shoulders, dropping him face-first onto the top turnbuckle. Jey hits a big spear, then heads up top and connects with the Uso Splash. He makes the cover and gets the three-count.
Jey joins Rusev and Sheamus as the men who have advanced in the Last Time Is Now Tournament.
