Jelly Roll Reportedly Being Considered For WWE WrestleMania 42 Match

As noted, Jelly Roll made an appearance on MizTV on last night  SmackDown. The Miz said he wants to be Jelly Roll’s mentor, but Jelly said no. Miz took credit for Jelly’s 250 lbs weight loss and Miz said he liked Jelly better when he was fat. Jelly said he’d kick Miz’s a$$. Kit Wilson came out and called Jelly Roll fat-phobic and toxic. Miz held Kit back. Jelly went to punch Kit, but Kit got out of the way and Jelly laid out Miz. Later in the show Miz and Kit Wilson were walking backstage as Kit told Miz he was going to talk to Nick Aldis. Shortly after it was announced that Kit Wilson will be calling out Jelly Roll next week on SmackDown.

Bodyslam is reporting that Jelly Roll has been discussed for a tag team match at WrestleMania. The discussed tag team match would see Jelly Roll team with Royce Keys, and the story of the pairing would have to do with the stories of hardships they’ve been through in their lives.

Jelly Roll made his official in-ring debut for WWE at this past August’s SummerSlam 2025 event that featured him teaming up with Randy Orton in a tag team match against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul, which was won by McIntyre and Paul.

Royce Keys made his WWE debut back in January when he entered the 30 man Royal Rumble match. Keys has not appeared on WWE TV since his debut, but he has been competing in dark matches at SmackDown tapings in recent weeks.
