Dominik Mysterio has hit a new milestone as WWE Intercontinental Champion. surpassing 200 days as Intercontinental Champion. Mysterio hit the mark on Thursday, extending what has become the longest reign since GUNTHER’s historic 666-day run from June 2022 to WrestleMania 41.
Mysterio has successfully defended the title nine times. He captured the championship in a Fatal Four-Way match against Bron Breakker, Finn Balor, and PENTA, and most recently defended it against Rusev and PENTA at Saturday Night’s Main Event this past weekend.
Mysterio also reigns as the AAA Mega Champion. He’s a former two-time NXT North American Champion and previously held the SmackDown Tag Team Titles alongside his father, Rey Mysterio, for 63 days in 2021.
