On tonight episode of WWE Raw AJ Lee successfully defended the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Bayley. Bayley earned the opportunity after securing a title shot on last week’s episode of WWE RAW.
The end of the match saw AJ Lee hits a back heel kick and a Shining Wizard. Bayley then counters a Black Widow into a side slam. Bayley then goes up top and sets up for the elbow drop and she misses when AJ rolls out of the way. AJ then returns to the Black Widow and Bayley taps out.
After the match, AJ offers her hand and Bayley hugs her. AJ then raises Bayley’s hand and Bayley leaves the ring. We then see AJ Lee celebrate her win with fans at ringside. With her back to the entrance, Becky Lynch attacks AJ and she sends AJ into the LED board. Becky then sends AJ to the floor and kicks her in the back. Becky then sends AJ into the railing and she kicks AJ. Becky is finally escorted away from AJ and Becky has the title belt. Becky then returns the belt to AJ in her face.
