On April 19, 2025 it was announced that WWE had reached an agreement to acquire AAA. Since then the promotion has secured a media rights agreement with Fox, which brought AAA to Fox properties in Mexico and Latin America.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that WWE will be bringing AAA to the United States of America for the first time under the new ownership. The report notes the current plan on an internal level is for the first US event to take place on Saturday, April 11 with the speculation that the show could take place in Texas. However, this has not been confirmed. Furthermore, the event is expected to follow the current format of taping three episodes in one night.
