After being absent from NXT for months, D’Angelo made his return to NXT at Saturday’s PLE when he attacked Je’Von Evans immediately after Evans’ Iron Survivor Challenge win.
D’Angelo returned to NXT TV this week as Page was cutting a promo hyping himself up. The lights went out and a vignette of someone walking was seen. Page stared at the entrance but D’Angelo appeared behind him, hitting Page with a standing chokeslam. D’Angelo then laid black flower petals on Page.
Tony D’Angelo has yet to speak on his big return to NXT.
