This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw from the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, saw AJ Styles & Dragon Lee put their WWE World Tag Team Championship on the line as they defended the belts against The Usos.
Prior to the match, Jimmy spoke with Jey in the locker room and asked his brother if he was alright. Jey told Jimmy that nothing has been going right for him, and he doesn’t want to put his brother in a bad spot. Jimmy hyped his brother up and told him he needed him.
Towards the end of the match, AJ Styles connected with the Styles Clash, but Jey Uso kicked out as the fans chanted “this is awesome.” He went for the Styles Clash again, but Jimmy stopped it. AJ tried for the Phenomenal Forearm only to get hit with a double superkick from The Usos.
The Usos then hit Dragon Lee with a double superkick followed by the 1D to pick up the victory to become the new WWE World Tag Team Champions. After the match The Usos celebrated in the crowd with the belts as the show went off the air.
The win marks the ninth tag team title reign for The Usos and their fourth with the World Tag Team Championship. Their last reign with these titles were back in May 2022 to April 2023, when they lost the titles to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 39.
