WWE: Unreal Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix, giving fans a behind the scenes look at what was originally planned for the 2025 WWE Summerslam Card.
According to the show, at Money in the Bank, IYO SKY was set to face Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship.
The King of the Ring final match at Night of Champions was planned to be Cody Rhodes vs. Rusev. Meanwhile, the Queen of the Ring final match at Night of Champions was planned to be Rhea Ripley vs. Giulia. Had Liv Morgan not been injured, at Evolution, she would have faced Nikki Bella.
At Wrestlepalooza, Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre was a match planned rather than taking place at Clash in Paris. For WarGames, an interesting angle was to have Sami Zayn and Jacob Fatu on Roman Reigns’ team. Moreover, the heel WarGames team was planned to be Seth Rollins, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Solo Sikoa, and JC Mateo.
The SummerSlam 2025 card was set to include several matches:
- Roman Reigns vs. Bron Breakker
- Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins
- Finn Balor (The Demon) vs. Dominik Mysterio
- Jey Uso vs. Rusev
- Bella Twins vs. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
