Ridge Holland provided fans with a significant health update, revealing that he underwent successful neck surgery.
Ridge wrote on social media,“Surgery went well. C5 to C7 artificial disc replacement. Thank you to the amazing care at @hspecialsurgery Manhattan. And thank you for all the messages of support. I’ll get back to you all over the next few days. #therebuild”.
Holland’s focus is now entirely on recovery, though he stated that his future return to the ring remains to be seen. Holland recently posted that he is “not chasing a contract” right now but is instead “chasing peace”.
As previously reported, the former NXT Tag Team Champion recently revealed that WWE will cover the cost of his upcoming neck fusion surgery.
WWE had released Holland just days before his contract was set to expire, shortly after he suffered a severe Lisfranc foot injury while competing at a TNA event.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
