A new report has emerged revealing how WWE officially views Reigning WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi.
According to a report from BodySlam.net, WWE officials were said to be “unbelievably impressed” by Oba Femi’s recent appearances on SmackDown and Saturday Night’s Main Event. Sources have indicated that company officials see Oba Femi as someone who is on par with Bron Breakker.
WWE has been airing vignettes for Femi on both Raw and SmackDown, and the expectation is that he will be called up to the main roster very soon. Based on Bron Breakker’s current push Oba Femi is expected to be a special case and a main event player for years to come.
Femi is set to defend the NXT Championship against Leon Slater at New Year’s Evil next week.
