Matt Cardona Comments on his WWE Return. The former Zack Ryder was revealed to be the newest member of the SmackDown roster on Friday’s show in Buffalo. He defeated Kit Wilson in singles competition.
Following the conclusion of the January 2,2026 broadcast, Cardona reacted to his victory on social media, writing, “I’M NOT FINISHED!”
Cardona previously returned to WWE on the November 14, 2025 edition of SmackDown as part of the Last Time Is Now tournament. He was defeated by LA Knight on the show.
