Bob Caudle,a familiar voice from the legendary days of the original NWA, passed away at age 95. The announcement was made by his son Mike on November 16, 2025, who shared that Caudle passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Caudle is best known for his time as the voice of Jim Crockett Promotions during the 1970s and 1980s. Later in his career, Caudle joined Jim Cornette’s Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Away from the ring, he worked as a legislative assistant for Senator Jesse Helms.
