At Saturday Lucha Libre AAA event, NXT star Je’Von Evans won a three-way match against Octagón Jr. and Axiom.
Evans secured the win by hitting Axiom with a springboard cutter. After the match, AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Laredo Kid entered the ring, shook hands with Evans, and then held up his championship.
This sets up a title match between Evans and Laredo Kid at a later date.
