RJ City is not leaving AEW despite his hit “Hey! EW” YouTube series and another coffee-related project that ended earlier this month. Now, a new report has some details on how the show wrapped up.
On the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A, It was noted that the end of “Hey! EW” had been planned for quite some time and was a creative decision by the Jacksonville-based promotion. RJ City’s coffee project was also wrapped up around the same time, creating “a nice clean sweep” .
RJ City remains an active contributor within AEW behind the scenes, And is expected to be involved in creative and to contribute to new content.
There’s been no reduction in RJ City’s AEW role. It has only shifted towards more development and content ideation, rather than recurring digital content.
