On Tuesday morning, WWE announced that Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant from 1987’s WrestleMania 3 is receiving the WWE Immortal Moment Award at this year’s WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026 induction ceremony.
“The slam heard around the world,” the announcement began. “The ICONIC showdown between Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant at WrestleMania 3 will be honored with the WWE Immortal Moment Award at the 2026 WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony.”
Multiple names have been confirmed for the Hall of Fame class as AJ Styles, Stephanie McMahon and Demolition are all set to be inducted. Dennis Rodman will be joining the celebrity wing, and Sid and Bad News Brown will both be legacy inductees.
The 2026 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place during WrestleMania Week. WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to take place on April 18 and April 19 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV.
