Drew McIntyre Quits WWE

As noted, The March 6th, episode of WWE SmackDown aired live from the Moda Center in Portland, OR and the show featured Cody Rhodes defeating Drew McIntyre to become the new Undisputed WWE Championship. On The March 13th episode of WWE SmackDown Drew McIntyre kicked off the show.

McIntyre made his way out into the arena and he stood on the announce table as he accused Nick Aldis of making sure his golden boy got the title before WrestleMania. McIntyre demanded that Aldis make things right. The situation quickly escalated as Nick Aldis told Drew that he understood why he didn’t want to give Cody a title shot, because as soon as he did Cody beat him.

The situation continued to escalate as Drew got in the ring and stepped up to Nick Aldis. Jacob Fatu’s music hit and the powerhouse entered the ring. Fatu stated that he was the reason why Drew won the Undisputed WWE Championship. He also stated that he was the one who screwed Drew McIntyre last week when he interfered in the title match, and he asked the former champion what he was going to do about it.

Drew addressed Nick Aldis, Cody Rhodes, Jacob Fatu and the fans as he told everyone that he’s done with them all. McIntyre then got in Nick’s face and said “I quit!” Jacob Fatu and Nick Aldis looked shocked as Drew McIntyre walks out through the crowd as the segment came to an end.
