Fans Speculation about Johnny Gargano’s WWE status continues, and a new report has an update on the matter.
Fightful Select’s is reporting that those they spoke to in WWE stated that Garagno remains firmly under contract with WWE at this moment.
Fans have been speculating about Gargano’s status since Tommaso Ciampa’s departure from WWE and signs with AEW this past January. In recent weeks of WWE SmackDown shows, Gargano has been portraying a very depressed character following him losing Axiom’s mask that he originally had stolen from him. During the the march 6th episode of SmackDown Gragano snapped out of it and issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room that led to him getting quickly squashed by Oba Femi.
