Earlier today, WWE EVOLVE and NXT talent Tyra Mae Steele posted a tweet announcing that she had been released from WWE. She said the following:
“On a weekend off working for WWE, I went back to Olympic wrestling, won gold at Worlds, prize purse was $350000…. Tried to go back to WWE that Monday. They moved me up to Raw, just to tell me they had to let me go bc I went behind their back…. So was this a nightmare or a dream”
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com reported that sources within WWE stated that Steele was not actually released from the company and confirmed what she was describing was literally just a dream she recently had.
Steele clarified the situation and confirmed that she was not released from WWE.
