Chelsea Green Says Micheal Hayes Apologized For WWE Unreal Comments, Received Support From The Undertaker

During season two of WWE: Unreal on Netflix, WWE producer Michael Hayes made some comments about Chelsea and indicated he doesn’t think she’s built for one of the top spots in the women’s division.

Chelsea Green responded last month saying she couldn’t help but to be pissed hearing a top WWE producer putting a ceiling on her.

Speaking on Six Feet Under with The Undertaker, Hayes clarified his comments about Green, saying Green is “amazingly talented and entertaining,” but did not regret what he said. The Undertaker, however, defended Green, stating that he is a “big fan” of Green’s work.

Chelsea Green recently appeared on The Nikki & Brie Show, where she revealed that Hayes has apologized to her and comments on the undertaker praising her.

“Look, I know people always say, ‘Oh my God, you’re so funny, that’s hilarious.’ But there are always the same women who end up being everyone’s favorite wrestlers. Rhea Ripley is always going to be everyone’s favorite. Stephanie Vaquer will probably be everyone’s favorite too, and I’m used to that. I’ll support them and cheer them on. But hearing The Undertaker say my name and stick up for little old me, and say it with that much conviction, meant a lot. He had even told me the same thing in a text. I feel like he really went out of his way to show how he felt.”

“Everyone got so upset about what Michael Hayes said about me. Was he putting me down? Was he putting a ceiling on me? Yes. Michael Hayes has already apologized to me, and we talked about it. I know Undertaker has had my back for a long time. He even booked me to win the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles, so he believed in me long before Michael Hayes made those comments.” h/t Fightful.
