The stipulation for the AEW World title match between MJF and Hangman Page will now be a Texas Death Match.
During tonight episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW World Champion MJF and Page came out to the ring to talk about their match and their stipulations, which Page suggested a Texas Death Match and MJF suggested a One-way No DQ match. MJF stated that his stipulations meant that he could do anything he wanted while if Page soo much as looked at a weapon, he would get DQ’d and could no longer challenge for the AEW World title ever again. MJF also suggested that they flip a coin to determine the stip, which Page agreed. After some more words between the two, MJF flipped the coin and it landed on heads meaning MJF’s stip would be chosen. Hangman asked MJF for the coin since he felt something fishy happened, which MJF refused and attempted to leave to the back. MJF was stopped by JetSpeed, Brody King, and Bandido who forced MJF back into the ring.
Page demanded the coin again which MJF tried to weasel out giving saying Page could have any other coin instead. MJF was then forced to give up the coin, which Page showed up was a double sided head coin. Tony Schiavone announced that as a result of MJF’s actions, the match at Revolution would be a Texas Death Match.
