AJ Styles Defeats Shinsuke Nakamura At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada AJ Styles face off against Shinsuke Nakamura.

The match starts off with both men locking up and Nakamura cinches in a side head lock. Both men then lock up again and Nakamura hits a side head lock take down. AJ then gets a rollup for a near fall. Nakamura then cinches in a waist lock. AJ then gets a standing switch. Nakamura then cinches in a wrist lock into a side head lock. AJ then goes for a leap frog and Nakamura hits a thrust kick.

In the closing moments of the match, Nakamura sets up for the Kinshasa and he hits it, but AJ is able to block it a bit. Nakamura then avoids a Styles Clash. Nakamura then hits a knee to AJ. Nakamura then misses the Kinshasa and he hits the turnbuckles. AJ is then sent to the apron and AJ avoids a boot and he drops the leg on the top rope. AJ then hits a Phenomenal Forearm followed by a Styles Clash for the win.

After the match, AJ goes over to Nakamura and he offers his fist. They then show each other a sign of respect and they shake hands and hug. Nakamura then leaves AJ in the ring to pose alone. The crowd then gives AJ a great ovation.
