The show opens up with Excalibur welcoming us and he introduces Bryan Danielson and Tony Schiavone as his broadcast partners. Excalibur then runs through the show’s lineup.

We then see a recap of Samoa Joe saying that The Opps will defend their Trios Titles on Collision. Joe then says he has set a bounty on Hangman Page and that Page will face Bryan Keith tonight.

Darby Allin then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night. The Death Riders then follow and PAC tells everyone else to stay behind.

Singles Match: Darby Allin vs. The Death Riders’ “The Bastard” PAC

The match starts off with PAC at ringside and Allin hitting a suicide dive. PAC then falls over the barricade and into the fans. Allin then hits some right hands and cinches in a head lock. Allin then grabs PAC and grinds his face onto the railing. Allin then grabs PAC by the hair and he begins walking up the stairs towards the top section of the arena. PAC then hits some right hands, but Allin hits a drop kick. Allin then climbs one of the railings and he hits the Coffin Drop onto PAC.

Allin gets up and PAC begins walking down the stairs and he begins to run around the ring. Allin then runs towards PAC, but PAC moves out of the way and Allin hits the barricade. PAC then hits a release German suplex on the outside of the ring. PAC then moves the ring steps and grabs Allin. He then hits a belly to back suplex on Allin onto the ring steps. PAC then sends Allin into the ring. PAC then hits a clothesline onto Allin. He then goes for the cover, but Allin kicks out. PAC then slingshots Allin face first onto the second rope. He then goes for the cover, but Allin kicks out. PAC then sends Allin to the ropes and he hits a back drop. PAC then hits a German suplex and he goes for the cover, but Allin kicks out.

Darby with a drop kick off the top rope. Darby to the ropes and he lands a coffin splash off the second rope. Darby with a drop kick. He runs towards PAC but PAC with a belly to belly and Darby hits the turnbuckle. PAC places Darby on the top rope and he lands a belly to belly. PAC lifts Darby up and he lands the Razor’s Edge, throwing Darby over the top rope onto the attached ring ramp. The referee counts to nine but Darby gets back in the ring. PAC is sitting on the top rope and he drops but hurts his ankle. Darby with right hands onto PAC and onto his ankle. PAC rolls to the outside of the ring and Darby climbs the top rope, landing a Coffin Drop onto PAC.

Darby places PAC on the ring apron. Darby climbs the top rope and lands a Coffin Drop. PAC gets back into the ring but Darby with splashes in the corner. Darby goes for another splash but PAC pulls the referee in front of him and Darby hits the referee. Darby looks at the referee and PAC grabs Darby but Darby drops PAC. Darby with the Scorpion Death Lock and PAC taps out. Out comes Wheeler Yuta with a steel chair but Darby kicks him and lands a Scorpion Death Drop onto the chair. Darby with the Scorpion Death Drop onto PAC. Darby places PAC’s ankle in between the chair and he climbs the second rope, landing a Coffin Drop onto PAC’s ankle. Darby throws the chair to the outside and gets PAC in the Scorpion Death Lock. PAC taps out and the referee calls for the bell.

After the match, medical officials, Yuta and Marina Shafir check on PAC’s ankle in the ring.

Bryan Keith then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night with Big Bill and Hangman Page follows.

Singles Match: “Hangman” Adam Page vs. “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith

The match starts off with Big Bill on the ring apron and Page hits a running big boot to the face of Keith. Page then gets Keith in the corner and hits him with right hands. Keith then rolls onto the ring apron, but Page hits a kick and Keith falls to the outside of the ring. Page then goes to the outside, but he is distracted by Big Bill. Keith then hits a right hand, but Page pushes him into the barricade. He then sends Keith back into the ring and Page hits some chops to the chest. Page then hits an elbow to the face. Big Bill then distracts Page and Keith hits a headbutt. Keith then hits some right hands.

Bill then gets a cheap shit on Page as Keith has the referee distracted. Keith then slams Page onto the steel steps. Page then makes his comeback, but Keith hits a drop toehold. Keith then gets a two count after a knee strike and an exploder suplex. Page then stops Keith with a fallaway slam. Page then hits with a lariat on Keith and gets a near fall. Keith then almost gets the three count on Page after a belly-to-belly suplex into the turnbuckles. Page then fights back and hits a lariat on Keith. Bill then gets involved behind the referee’s back, but Swerve Strickland comes in and chokes him with a steel chain. Page then hits the Buckshot Lariat on Keith for the win.

After the match, Strickland gets in the ring. Page then tells Keith to go collect another bounty. Page then tells Samoa Joe that he is going to take everything from him. Strickland then tells MJF that if he wins tonight, it means he will have lost because they will be coming after him. Strickland then says this is 2026 and he has a new year’s resolution. Strickland then says it has been a while since he has had the AEW World Championship around his waist and this is what the fans want. Strickland then says they will make this who’s house and the fans say Swerve’s house.

Kenny Omega’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Omega says he doesn’t mean to speak for anyone else in the ring, but he has something to prove. Omega then says when they all called him the God of professional wrestling it meant something. Omega then says if they still believe, he still believes. Omega then says he understands that winning the belt, you can’t just be an EVP, snap your fingers and make it happen. Omega then says he has to win a few matches first. Omega then says whether it be friend or foe, he is going for that belt. Omega then looks at Page and Page tells him that there are three of them who want that championship. He then says unfortunately this is not a team effort and if they cross paths on the way to the championship, may the best man win. Page and Omega then shake hands as Page’s music hits. Strickland then gets in Omega’s face.

Page and Strickland then head to the back and out come the Don Callis family. Callis says he has something important to say. Callis then tells Omega that he has always been a big fan. Callis then says he has always been a big fan of MJF, but he has to question his logic, even thinking of even associating with a scumbag like Omega. Callis then says now Omega is back and he wants the title, but he has to win some matches. Callis then tells Omega if he wants to wrestle, how about he wrestles against the man who broke Ibushi’s leg and the man who sent him to the hospital, to wrestle the walking weapon Josh Alexander.

Omega then tells him that he can barely hear him over the fans, but what it sounds like is that Don has issued a challenge. Omega then tells Josh that he has a little bit of time tonight. Don then stops Josh and the fans boo. Don then says that they have known each other for many years and Omega forgot how their relationship works. He then says Omega does what daddy says and daddy decides when matches happen. He then says Omega will get Josh but next week on Dynamite because what he says goes. Don and the Don Callis Family then walk to the back. Omega then says they heard it here first, it will have to be next week but today was phase one of him becoming the new AEW World Champion.

We then see Brody King backstage with Renee Paquette, but in comes Jon Cruz. King then tells him he will see him in the ring. Brody King then throws Jon Cruz into the ring side area.

Singles Match: Brody King vs. Jon Cruz

The match starts off with Jon Cruz being thrown into the ring by Brody King. King then picks Cruz up and hits him with the Gonzo Bomb. King then goes for a cover and gets the win.

After the match, King says he wants Bandido to beat up MJF from pillar to post. King then says he feels Bandido will leave as the AEW World Champion tonight.

We then get a video package for MJF vs. Bandido.

AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s 4-Way Tag Team Match: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. The Demand’s GOA (Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun) vs. JetSpeed (“The Jet” Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey) vs. Don Callis Family (Jake Doyle and Mark Davis)

The match starts off with The Young Bucks attacking Mark Davis and Jake Doyle early on. JetSpeed then takes down Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona. JetSpeed and The Bucks are now in the ring. They then have a back-and-forth before Davis and Doyle interrupt things. GOA then confront Davis and Doyle, but JetSpeed hits some dropkicks. All four teams are now in action at this point and The Bucks stand tall. Nick Jackson then takes down multiple stars on the floor with a dive. Davis and Doyle then block a double BTE Trigger attempt before battling it out with Kaun and Liona. GOA then go on a rampage after Toa Liona hits a moonsault on the outside.

Back in the ring, The Young Bucks double team Mark Davis before Jake Doyle takes them down. Kevin Knight is then put down by Davis and Doyle. Davis and Doyle then throw Mike Bailey across the ring. Bailey then fights it out against Davis and Doyle, but gets taken down. The Young Bucks and GOA are nowhere to be seen at the moment. After some back-and-forth, The Young Bucks and JetSpeed are left standing. They once again counter each other before all four men are down on the mat.

GOA then double team The Young Bucks one-by-one. They then spike Matt Jackson, but Kevin Knight breaks the count. Liona then picks up The Young Bucks on his shoulders, but Bailey hits the Ultima Weapon on Liona. Bishop Kaun then breaks up the three count attempt. The Young Bucks then hit superkicks to everyone. They then hit the stomp/powerbomb combo on Bailey. The Young Bucks then hit the BTE Trigger on Kevin Knight, but Ricochet pulls the referee out of the ring.

Jack Perry then flies out of nowhere and takes out Ricochet, but GOA take out Perry. Inside the ring, Bailey hits double kicks on Doyle and Davis and nails Davis with an enzuigiri. Doyle then powerbombs Bailey on top of The Bucks and GOA, with Davis delivering a piledriver to Knight for the win.

The winners of the 4-Way Tag Team Match and new #1 Contender’s to the AEW World Tag Team Championship, Don Callis Family (Jake Doyle and Mark Davis)!

After the match, FTR and Big Stoke (who’s in a wheelchair) make their way down to the ring. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood then get into the ring and stare down Doyle and Davis before a brawl breaks out between all four men. Officials then run out to the ring to break the four men apart.

SkyFlight (Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin, Darius Martin, Zayda Steel and Christopher Daniels) then cuts a backstage promo. Steel speaks about facing Marina Shafir and says she bullies bullies. Sky and the Martins will face Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander and El Clon on Collision. Sky then says everyone is focused on what’s next when they should be focused on what’s now.

Triangle of Madness then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Babes of Wrath and Kris Statlander follow.

Trios Match: AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Babes of Wrath (AEW TBS Champion Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) vs. Triangle of Madness (“The Toxic Spider” Thekla, Skye Blue and Julia Hart)

The match starts off with Thekla and Statlander. Hart is then tagged in, but Statlander gets a take down. She then grabs Hart, but Hart cinches in a head lock. She then throws Hart to the ropes and Statlander hits a back suplex. Cameron is then tagged in. Cameron and Statlander then double team Hart. Cameron then goes for a cover, but Hart kicks out. Cameron then goes to the ropes and she hits a slingblade. She then goes for a cover, but Hart kicks out. Willow is then tagged in and Willow hits a body slam. Willow then goes for a cover, but Hart kicks out.

She then grabs Hart, but Hart hits a right hand. Skye Blue is then tagged in. Skye Blue then hits a forearm to the face. She then runs towards Willow, but Willow hits a kick to the side of the head. She then grabs Skye Blue, but Skye Blue gets onto Willow’s back. Willow then slams her onto the mat and Statlander is tagged in. Statlander then goes for a cover, but Skye Blue kicks out. Cameron is then tagged in, but Skye Blue hits a drop toe hold. She then goes for a cover, but Cameron kicks out.

Cameron and Thekla are in the ring. Statlander is tagged in and she slams Thekla onto the mat. Hart then gets in the ring, but Statlander hits a back breaker. Skye Blue then comes in, but she is thrown into the corner. Statlander then hits a running knee onto Thekla. She then goes for a cover, but Blue breaks it up. Hart then comes in, but Statlander takes them both down. She then grabs Blue, but Blue hits a DDT. Willow then hits a spine buster onto Blue. Thekla then hits a kick to the side of the head. Cameron then hits a back stabber onto Thekla.

Cameron is then tagged in. Cameron then tags Willow and they double team Thekla. Willow then goes for a cover, but Hart breaks it up. Blue then slams Cameron onto the mat. Statlander then takes Hart and Blue down. Thekla then takes Statlander down. Willow then hits a clothesline onto Thekla. Willow then lifts her up, but Thekla takes her down. Statlander is then tagged in. Thekla then hits a spear onto Statlander. Thekla then hits a Stomp. She then goes for a cover and gets the win.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is with JetSpeed but in comes Swerve Strickland. He tells Bailey that they will have to wrestle one day and he tells Knight that his time is coming. Strickland then walks away and in comes “Hangman” Adam Page. He tells them that they might have lost tonight, but this Saturday he will take the Trios Tag Team Titles with JetSpeed.

It is then announced that The Rascalz are coming to AEW.

Bandido then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and MJF follows.

AEW World Championship Match: MJF (c) vs. Brodido’s ROH World Champion Bandido

The match starts off with both men locking up and Bandido rolling MJF up for a two count. MJF then makes his comeback with a shoulder block. MJF then does the strut, but Bandido hits an armdrag. Bandido then sweeps MJF’s legs for a series of near falls. Bandido then slams MJF on the mat, but MJF rolls out of the ring for a breather. Bandido then follows it up with a big dive to the outside. MJF then turns things around by wrenching Bandido’s arm onto the ropes. MJF then applies an armlock before planting Bandido on the mat for a two count. MJF then drops Bandido from the top rope before both men mock each other. Bandido then gets a two count with a rollup.

MJF then stops Bandido with a kick and follows it up with a shoulder breaker. MJF then sends Bandido into the turnbuckles to regain control of this match. MJF then slams Bandido shoulder first into the turnbuckles and stomps on him. Bandido then makes his comeback and hits several right hands strikes on MJF in the corner. MJF then escapes and puts Bandido down on the mat. MJF then goes for the 3-Amigos, but Bandido stops him before the third. After some back-and-forth, Bandido hits a DDT and nails MJF to the mat.

MJF then stops Bandido with a back elbow to his jaw and he follows it up with a stomp on Bandido’s arm. Bandido then counters a Salt of the Earth and gets a two count with a rollup. Bandido then hits a dive to the outside on MJF. Bandido then hits a crossbody on MJF from the top turnbuckle and over the barricade. Back in the ring, Bandido gets a two count with a Code Red. MJF then gets a near fall of his own with a cutter on Bandido. Both men then battle it out and Bandido gets another two count after a shooting star press. MJF then counters a Code Red and gets a two count with a small package.

Both men then exchange quick rollups before Bandido hits the X-Knee and the 21 Plex, but he can’t get the bridge for the three count. Bandido then gets a two count, but MJF counters with the Salt of the Earth. Bandido is about to grab the ropes, but MJF pulls him back. MJF then cinches in the Labelle lock and Bandido passes out.

After the match, MJF grabs a microphone and says when Bandido said he was going to be AEW World Champion, he laughed. MJF then says after wrestling him Bandido was right. MJF then says as much as it pains him to say this Bandido will be World Champion one day in AEW, which unfortunately means he has to do this. MJF then hits Bandido with the championship. MJF then grabs Bandido’s mask, but Brody King makes his way down to the ring and MJF leaves the ring, running to the back. Brody King and Bandido then stand in the ring as Dynamite comes to a close.
