During the January 4 episode of Raw, It was confirmed that Je’Von Evans has joined the red brand. However, many fans were confused as to why WWE had Je’Von Evans sign his Raw contract during a commercial break.
According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, several people within WWE were puzzled with the situation, but insisted that it wasn’t an indication of their view on Evans.
Sean Ross Sapp asked about the situation throughout the week, and there were rumors that some of the segments on Raw went heavy which led to the situation with the contract signing, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
In addition to Je’Von Evans signing with Raw, it was also confirmed last week that Trick Williams is officially part of the Friday Night SmackDown roster. Other names expected to join the main roster include Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry, and Blake Monroe and Lola Vice are also rumored for call-ups as well.
