Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY Capture Women’s Tag Team Titles On WWE Raw

WWE Raw marked its one-year anniversary on Netflix on January 5, 2026, with a live broadcast from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. And The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship was on the line as The Kabuki Warriors defended their titles against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY on the red brand.

It was a back and forth battle between the two teams. But in the near end of the match Rhea hit the Riptide on Asuka then Iyo connected with the Over The Moonsault from the top rope. Iyo did a dive to the outside to take out Kairi Sane as Rhea Ripley pinned Asuka to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

This win marks Ripley’s second reign as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and SKY’s third. Ripley previously held the championships alongside Nikki Cross in late 2021, while SKY won the titles twice in 2022 as a member of Damage CTRL.

The Kabuki Warriors’ title reign ends at 56 days. They won the titles from Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair on the November 10th episode of WWE Raw.
