Jesse “The Body” Ventura is expected to be in Washington, D.C. this weekend.
According to WrestleVotes, Jesse “The Body” Ventura is scheduled to return at the Peacock special this weekend in Washington, D.C.
“After not appearing at the last Saturday Night’s Main Event, Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura is set for Washington, D.C. this weekend as the big John Cena send-off show approaches,” WrestleVotes stated.
The WWE Hall of Famer did not appear at November’s edition of the Peacock special. It was reported at the time that Ventura’s absence may have been a matter of his deal having expired as it for a year. WWE never issued a statement on the matter. WrestleVotes’ post reads in full:
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will be headlined by John Cena versus Gunther in what will mark Cena’s retirement from in-ring action. The Ring General earned the opportunity to face the GOAT by winning The Last Time Is Now Tournament.
Also set for the night is a major cross-promotional match featuring TNA’s Leon Slater as he teams up with NXT’s Je’Von Evans against WWE World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee
