Reports: WWE Has Big Plans For LA Knight In 2026

LA Knight hasn’t had the best time in WWE lately. For the past few weeks, he lost to Gunther in The Last Time Is Now tournament finals and wasn’t booked for the recently concluded Survivor Series: WarGames match, and his misfortunes continued on this week’s RAW show.

On the recent Monday Night RAW, The Megastar crossed paths with The Vision after helping Rey Mysterio fend off attacks from Logan Paul. Not only did he lose the match after the mystery masked man attacked him during his singles match with The Maverick, but the group beat him down backstage and put him in an ambulance after he was hit with a Tsunami on top of a car, seemingly writing him off from television for the time being.

Despite these setbacks, Bodyslam.net reports that Knight is still considered a “top player” for the company. Sources indicate that 2026 is expected to be a much better year for him.

“Knight is being positioned as one of the top babyfaces in the company and with him being involved with The Vision, it’s only going to grow the crowd reactions in a more positive way,” the report states. “The company is aware of the reactions and want to play the long game with Knight.”
