Red Velvet regained the ROH Women’s Television Championship at Final Battle on Friday, defeating Mercedes Mone. The two previously met in a unification bout during the three-hour Dynamite/Collision special, with Mone winning to become the undisputed champion. She had captured the Interim Women’s World TV Title while Velvet was out recovering from a neck injury and a shoulder dislocation.
In the closing moments of their Final Battle rematch, Mone had Velvet locked in the Statement Maker. Velvet shifted her weight, kicked off the ropes, and rolled Mone into a deep pin for the three-count — securing the win and reclaiming the ROH Women’s World TV Championship.
With the loss, Mone drops her first championship and now holds a total of 12 titles.
