AJ Lee recently sat down with Stephanie McMahon on the latest episode of “What’s Your Story? And now a new report reveals WWE backstage reaction to her appearance.
According to a report from Fightful Select several WWE talents were “very surprised” that Lee took part in the podcast. The expectation among many was that everything between Lee and Stephanie would remain in the past and not be brought up.
As noted, the two addressed their past beef during the in-depth sit-down interview that was released this week.
Lee will compete in the women’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series this weekend. She will team with Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY against Becky Lynch, The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend.
